A bit about me…

 

I had my first experience connecting with spirit as a very young child. At the age of three my father sadly passed away. After his death I would continue to feel his presence, and on occasion I would even see my father standing quietly across the room. Although this brought great comfort to me at first; a young girl who had recently lost her Daddy and missed him very much, this comfort quickly turned to confusion and misunderstanding, and later into fear. I vividly remember crying, scared and asking my father in spirit to go away. He did as I asked, and I no longer felt or saw him. At first I was grateful he stepped back, but later, when I began to miss him, I blamed myself for his seeming disappearance from my life.
 

As a child and young adult, I was known to be very sensitive, and extremely emotional. I struggled, experiencing huge fluctuations in my moods, feelings, and emotions. I suffered from headaches, and battled depression. Completely unaware at that point in my journey that I was an Empath.

I have always been drawn to work with people with special needs, children and animals that can’t speak for themselves. Being an Empath, I am intuitively aware of their emotional, mental, and physical needs or wants. I have always been able to help, listen, communicate and speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. I started volunteering and with further education, I became a full time Early Childhood Educational Assistant, and this brought me great fulfillment, happiness and success.
 

Over the years, I have experienced a somewhat ‘normal’ life. Full of milestones, happiness, marriage, children, and success. I also experienced loss, grief, and sadness. I struggled emotionally with anxiety, but I was also consistently aware of something greater than just the here and now and being present in the physical world. I wanted more information, more knowledge, more understanding of these spirits that I was aware of. And how did I know things about strangers when I had only just met them?
 

As I began to ask questions and seek out others with spiritual knowledge and wisdom, I also wanted to release my fears and anxieties, and replace them with new understandings and greater truths. During this time of early exploration into the spirit world and the afterlife, I experienced the terrible loss of my brother, and shortly thereafter, my Mother.
 

Heartbroken, these losses only pushed me further.  I was more determined than ever to discover how to communicate with my own loved ones in spirit and experience the truth that love never dies.
 

I eventually found an incredible Mentor and Teacher in Mary-Anne Kennedy; World renowned Spiritual Medium, Author and Reiki Master. She and her fellow colleagues, Lynn and Leeann, provided the perfect, safe, learning environment. They provided me with a wide variety of experiences, healing, education, and certifications to develop my gifts and refine my skills.  Some of my extensive training is highlighted below:
 

• Numerous Mediumship Development classes, workshops (from beginner to advanced, including platform mediumship), and practice circles

• Intuitive and Spiritual Development classes

• Foundational Spiritual Practice workshops

• Meditation classes 

• Level 1 & Level 2 Reiki Practitioner Certification classes 

• Advanced Practitioner Master classes
   

This Journey of mine, although dark at times with grief and sadness, has also been full of such incredible healing, development and growth over many years, and has been worth every minute. The journey has enriched my life and those around me, including strangers I have worked with in order to help them on their journey. Learning is never ending. Follow your heart. My learning has brought me such peace and a personal connection to my loved ones in spirit that I thought was not possible. I’d be honoured to provide you with the same connection to your loved ones.
